'The Smallest Dragonboy'

Fanart of the short story "the Smallest Dragonboy" by Anne McCaffery!

The artwork for the original short story was horrendous! the dragons looked like camels mixed with lizards that were drunk and had crystals stuck into their eye sockets! horrible!

anyway, so this is the second time i've tried drawign fanart for it, because i think that wonderful little story needs some good art :3 andd... this one came out AMAZING- in my opinion!!!!!

it got a little cut off on the top by my evil scanner, but overall it still looks good
ramoth's in back, looking a bit confused why everyone's running away from her hatching eggs and towards one of her children ^_^ but Heath (that's his name i think...) went straight for Keelan :3 so adorable! and he's got his stsick he used like a cane, and the brace on his leg and the bandage across his forehead- though it looks a little off....- and he is in the shadows in the hatching cavern. In the back you can see the people and some dragons in the stands and the other candidates looking, pointing, trying to see him, or runnign towards him, eggs cracking, and some weyrlings feeding their dragonets
